Prairie Plank
The central bay of a barn was the typical location of the threshing floor. The combination of original surface, cut, core, and backside of the threshing floor give it a clean, but weathered look that works well as a paneling or flooring material. The face boards were lightly cleaned up with a nylon brush, leaving intact, the integrity and character of the wood. The core boards are wire brushed, yet still, show the look of a clean board and the back-side boards have been brushed leaving visible joist marks and nail holes.
